Antipasti Classes
What is it all about?
Our own Chef Liz Valenti is Italian through and through and has some incredible recipes and techniques to share.
This class will be designed to encourage conversation, questions and participation. You will also get to take home some amazing recipes!
How does the Italian Class Work?
At Amazing Edibles, you will be to work with the chef to learn how to prepare some or all of the recipes below. As you’re preparing the recipes, you will get to sample your work and the other teams’ food. When everyone’s done with everything – you will all get to indulge in a lovely array of antipasti.
In these hands-on classes, you will get:
- Knife Skills – you will learn to how to hold your knife, how to sharpen it, how to chop, slice, dice, brunoise, julienne, chiffonade and roll out
- Instruction and guidance by professionally-trained chefs
- Use of our cooking equipment for use during the class (chef knives, cookware, cook’s tools, measuring cups & spoons, etc.)
- Printed copies of the recipes (which are also available on our website)
- Aprons and hand towels for all participants during the event.
Menu
You will prepare some or all of the following:
- Flatbread Pizzas
- Margarita with fresh basil and tomato
- White with pesto
- Roasted winter vegetable with fresh herbs
- Sausage with caramelized onions and spinach
- Grilled Vegetables
- Bruschetta
Topped with students’ choice of toppings from cooler
